10.29.2018 Tonight we are victorious*
Hey Now! I wake up at 6:30. I am beat. I thought about hitting Sam's Club (Town) for 11x points. But I think I'll just stay in. I see a message on the room phone. The way I figure it, it's about the Tourney packet. So I let Sweet Ti I'm still kicking, and I go down and grab my paperwork. Pretty typical affair. While I'm down, I decide to try a little experiment. I am going to play some VP to figure out how much coin in it takes for a particular game. And it's a doozy. MS/STP. .25 denom. 8/5 White Hot Pointies. 98.49% as a regular game, not sure in this configuration. I insert coin and kinda hold my own even without scaring up a screenshot. What a Crack Whore game. MS is crazy enough- but adding in the STP factor just reinforces the endorphin rush. Bottom Line: 1545 coin in. 15 tear points. 103. coin in per tear point. Brutal. Well that little clinical trial cost me 2 hundy. Next! How about some Triple Double RWB .25 5 line-
By my notes I see I tried several other various 3 reels and suffered more non-screenshot consequences. I even went up for more bullets. A call to my Sweet Ti and more bullets. I do love the fact that these Orleans rooms have little windows you can open.
Bonus!
The suites even come with an Emergency Back Up window behind the bar. The other one is on the wall above the bathroom as usual. Back to the action I hit the Higher Limit for a possible DDD parley. Not happening. I decide to say hello to May, our sort of Host. In fact, I think it's time to apply a little wheel grease. Both May and Linda have been taking really good of us the last few years. May is in rare form and gives me her usual ration of shit. I give it right back and slip her a bill. May is another East European like Ziggy and Bo. Completely unfiltered. She thanks me profusely. Asks if there's anything I need and checks the room charges. Today we go from Sweet Ti's comp to mine. We are all good. Linda will be in later. I will come back to see her then. I am feeling me some Blazin' 7's Progressive.
Jim?????
and no paperwork!
on my 10th spin no less
I don't know about y'all- but I believe in karma. Rae paid me and I tipped her a 20. I asked after our Renneee and Rae said she had gotten off earlier. While I was being attended to a couple came over and congratulated me. They turned out to be today's locals. I hate to say, but I didn't get their names. They live in Henderson. I'll call them the Jackpot King and the Jackpot Queen. There are 10 of these machines back to back, and sthe Jackpot Queen finally picked one on the other side, while the Jackpot King sat at one near mine. He proceeded to regale me with a tale from the Excalibur in 2001. They were playing the same kind of machines and he hit the jackpot on 4 in a row. So they went into the high limit room and played the 25. version. He hit for 25k and they were sure he was cheating. They paid him and kicked them both out. While he is telling his tale, he hits for 300. My turn.
I'll take mixed for 200. Alex
Jackpot King is changing machines left and right, and the Jackpot Queen hits mixed. I decide to take my profits and wish them luck. As for me, I am actually in the black. Nice feeling. I saw that they have the new to me anyway iteration of Buffalo. Buffalo Max. 4. max bet.
Roll it Jimmy

Hey Now! During my travels, I stopped by the Mardi Gas to say hello to Jay. Jay and Hank Bonefish share a shift at the Wally Gator. We talked a bit about the BConned changes. Jay says the locals aren't showing up as much anymore. I recognize Jay's lone patron on the backside. I walk over and it's turtleman from VMB. We have run into each other several times. He plays mostly BJ, and we played some DD together a few years ago at Gold Coast. Somewhere around here I have a picture of the event. Here it is-
Vern & Stretch 2013
We also talked about the BConned changes. Turtleman has been staying at Boyd's for many years. Nobody is happy. Corporate has to be aware of what's going on. I leave turtleman to his martini and decide to try something very old school. Super Sally Shrimpageddon.
.10 denom 3. bet. James???
that cost a hundy.
Just up the street on the right is a W4 machine. I have done pretty good on it before. Maybe again today. Insert coin Jim-
Next up is some classic Buffalo. There's this one machine that is a 4. max bet rather than the usual 2. Of course the money goes qiuck.
Cashed out 300.
I'm getting pretty hungry so it's food court time. I order a Sbarro's pie with pepperoni, extra sauce and extra cheese. 17. room comp. While I waited I tried some Lucky Dragon and Aftershock. All I have to say about it is that I earned some tears.
Back to the action, I take another shot at B7's. Guy sits at the other end of the row and hits the JP. Guy sits next to me and hits the jackpot. All I can scare up is a mix tape. I used to love making mix tapes. Record to cassette tape. Drivin' & Cryin' Wait- I mean mixed 7s
thanks Alex
nice job missing the credits won there....
At this point I really don't want to give back all of my earlier winnings. So I call it a night.
